I've spent 19 years in this trade, and I run Matt Budnik Construction on one simple standard: every job is quoted, overseen, and finished to the level of care I'd want in my own home.

Yes — I'm a licensed Michigan Residential Builder (#2101216594) and fully insured, so you're covered on every job.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Just about anything around the house: kitchen and bath remodels, whole-room updates, custom trim and finish carpentry, cabinet installation, roofing, siding, tile, and more. If you're not sure, just ask.
Do you take on small jobs, or only big ones?
Both — anything from a single room of trim, a backsplash, or a repair up to a full bathroom or kitchen remodel. If you're not sure it's worth a call, call anyway.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes — estimates are free. Reach out with your project and I'll come take a look at no cost.
How soon can you start?
Scheduling varies with the season and current workload, so it's worth reaching out early. When we talk, I'll give you a realistic timeline for your project.
Do you do emergency jobs?
Yes — urgent problems like leaks and water damage can't wait, and I'll do my best to fit them in right away. Emergency and after-hours work carries an added rush fee that depends on the situation and the scope of the job — call me and I'll get you taken care of.
